The Asian American Cultural Center Book Club is an exciting new initiative that offers members of the community to engage in meaningful and thoughtful literary discussions that explore various cultural, political, social, and personal issues related to the Asian American experience.

Who can join the Book Club?
The Book Club is open to anyone in the campus community including students, faculty and staff member. The only requirements are:
- an interest and passion for readying
- an interest in Asian American issues
- commitment to attend Book Club meetings
How do you choose the book?
The book is chosen by the staff of the Asian American Cultural Center with input from students. If you have a suggestion for the next book, please send an e-mail to aacc(at)uiuc.edu with the title of the book, the author, and tell us why you think this would be a good book for the club to read.
Where can I pick up a copy of "American Born Chinese"?
Copies will be available at a discounted price ($10) for UIUC students at the AACC starting Friday, February 29th, 2008.
