Artist Showcase
The Artist Showcase is a venue for Asian American artists to display their artwork. The Artist Showcase is currently featuring an exhibit by Hermia Soo. The exhibition is titled “My Recollections of the Joy of Art Creation.” Different types of mixed media from oil, acrylic and watercolor are used in the exhibit. This exhibit will be on display from May 1, 2008 through July 31, 2008. There will be an art reception on Saturday, July 26, 2008 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm with a curator’s talk by Dr. Yu Ian Wang, Associate Curator at Spurlock Museum, and entertainment. This exhibit is hosted by the Asian American Cultural Center.
