The Institute of Labor and Industrial Relations (ILIR), would like senior standing students to participate in a focus group session. This focus group deals with the issue regarding how to best reach out to underrepresented populations here on campus (i.e. African Americans, Latina/os, and Native Americans). The purpose of this focus group session is to receive thoughts and ideas regarding how to increase the number of applicants from these student populations in the hopes of promoting higher level education at the Institute of Labor and Industrial Relations. Counseling Center Drop in Hours Geneva Reynaga-Abiko, Psy.D.is available at La Casa every Wednesday afternoon from 3:30-5pm for walk-in appointments. La Casa Men's and Women's Soccer Team. The women's team play every Tuesday at 8pm and the men's team play every Sundays at 10pm. Games are south of the tennis courts on First St. Soccer practices are on Mon, Tues, Thurs, and Fridays at 4:30pm behind FAR south of Lincoln Ave. Come support the Soccer team! La Casa hosts MEET McKinley, the Health Resource Center on Wednesdays 2-5pm on the second floor in the Library room 204. On a student budget? The Second Annual HLAI JD Mentors Program Law School Crawl will be held on two consecutive Saturdays, October 28, 2006 and November 4, 2006. During the event, prospective Hispanic law students will be able to visit six Chicago-area law schools. Each school will give a unique presentation during the event that will provide potential students with an opportunity to experience what it's like to be a law student at the schools they may attend one day.
