La Casa Library Hours every 2nd and 4th Tuesdays from 3-4pm. Undergrad Librarian Emily Love will be available to help with Library online resources. She will also be available at the African American Cultural Center every 1st and 3rd Tuesdays from 3-4pm.
The Counseling Center has office hours in La Casa's conference room 211 every Wednesdays from 3-4pm. Rene Monteagudo is available for scheduled appointments and/or walk-ins or if you just want to chat.
La Casa hosts MEET McKinley, the Health Resource
Center on Thursdays 2-5pm on the second floor in
conference room 211. Medications and other things that help you stay
healthy can be expensive, so take advantage of McKinley’s Health Resource

All students invited to provide input and get your questions answered about these important issues at the town hall meeting regarding Tuition and Fee Recommendations for 2008-09 Tuesday, Nov., 27 from 4-5pm in the Illini Union Pine Lounge. Hosted by Student Trustee Chime Asonye, Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Linda Katehi, and Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Renee Romano.
Multicultural Congratulatory Smith Memorial Hall Auditorium December 15th, 2007, 6:00 pm-8:00 pm. Graduating in December? Did you complete your degree requirements this past summer? Studying abroad or interning next semester and won’t be here for the May graduation ceremony? In honor of December graduates, the Office of Minority Student Affairs coordinates the Multicultural Congratulatory for students from any program and degree level. Registration deadline is November 30, 2007. Participation fees this year amount to $15 per graduate and are due on Friday, December 7th, 2007 by 12:00 pm. Campus Recreation Focus Group and a survey to determine how they can better meet the needs of the Latino/a population on campus. The information will be used to better prepare them for the grand opening (projected Summer 2008). The focus group will be conducted on Tuesday, December 4 from 5-6:30 in La Casa's dining room 116. A Potbelly's dinner will be provided for all participants and all ideas are welcome! If you are interested in participating in the focus group, please email Jeanne Huguelet at jhuguel2@uiuc.edu by noon on Saturday, Dec 1. If you are unable to attend the focus group, they would still love to hear your opinions! Let them know what you think by taking the survey at: https://webtools.uiuc.edu/survey/Secure?id=1082788. Campus Rec Exercise/Eating Disorder Campaign's mission
is to supply helpful information on topics that range from nutrition
topics to "What is your motivation?". They do this by placing posters
throughout CRCE in high traffic areas that will grab the students
attention. They need your help by joining their focus groups (not a large
time commitment) to critique their previous posters and give them fresh,
creative, and new ideas for the two new posters they will create this
year. They welcome both males & females. This is your opportunity to
