Monday, May 1
- First Annual LGBT Recognition and Awards Ceremony
6:00 pm, Room 314 Illini Union
The Recognition and Awards ceremony recognizes and celebrates the outstanding achievements of UIUC LGBTA students, staff and faculty. The program will feature hors d'oeuvres, a slide show, a keynote speech, and the bestowing of awards for LGBTA students staff and faculty. There will also be a procession of graduating LGBTA seniors, who will each receive a certificate of achievement. This event is free and open to the public. Sponsored by the Office for LGBT Concerns.
Wednesday, May 3
- PRIDE Elections and Constitution Vote
7:15 pm, 388 Lincoln
The elections for the PRIDE Executive Board will be on Wednesday, May 3. You can announce your candidacy at the meeting. We have several positions that have no candidates at this time, so you can still step up. Members will also be voting to ratify a constitution for PRIDE.

- May Ally Network Meeting | Ally Network Wrap-up
Noon - 1:30 pm, 323 Illini Union, Office of LGBT Concerns
The May Ally Network meeting will be a time for us each to talk about our year as an ally. In addition to allowing open time for sharing both successes and frustrations, we will go over the goal worksheets we completed at this academic year's first Ally Meeting. Finally, we will talk about topics and activities people would like to see next year.

- Colors Of Pride

Colors Of Pride provides a safe space and friendly environment for all LGBT students of color to share, listen, discuss and express themselves. All LGBT students of color and allies are welcome! For more information, contact Victor or Paul.

- Rainbow Coffeehouse
6:30 pm, the Etc, Wesley Foundation (corner of Green and Goodwin)
This will be the final Coffeehouse of the semester.
Take a break from studying! The Rainbow Coffeehouse offers a welcoming, nonreligious, open environment to LGBT and ALLY communities to socialize. Open every Tuesday. This event is open to the public. Sponsored by the Office for LGBT Concerns.

- CU at the Altar | 85% Coalition Meeting
5:30 pm, Geneva Room of the McKinley Foundation
Just a short reminder that we will meet again to discuss our summer and fall campaign for Equal Marriage on Wednesday, May 10 at 5:30 pm in the Geneva Room of the McKinley Foundation. Please invite others to join us. Contact Kimberlie Kranich for more information.

- Equal Marriage Illinois Champaign County (aka: CU at the Altar | 85% Coalition) Meeting
5:30 pm | 6:30 pm, Geneva Room of the McKinley Foundation
This Tuesday at 6:30 pm, there will be a meeting to start verifying some of the signatures gathered in Champaign county for the anti-gay referendum. Allie Carter, of the ACLU and the Fair Illinois campaign, will be present to conduct a training sessions for volunteers interested in participating in the local challenge process.
