Program Prep Overview
Responsibilities
- Develop an efficient system for preparing folders
- Print name tags and meal tickets for each student and guest(s)
- Make sure check-in boxes are stocked with necessary items during Summer Registration
- Train RSLs on how to assemble folders for each Summer Registration date
- Supervise groups of 7-10 NSP Student Leaders
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must have worked for New Student Programs as a RSL or ISL.
- Attitude that conveys a positive regard towards New Student Programs and the University in general.
- Regard for working cooperatively towards a successful program.
- Ability in communication, leadership, teamwork, creativity and academic achievement.
- Administrative and leadership skills for the completion of details associated with Summer Registration and Fall Orientation.
- Demonstrate organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Enjoy working with a diverse group of students.
- Have a positive attitude and high energy.
- Have at least a 2.25 GPA.
- Be a full-time University of Illinois undergraduate student.
Employment
- 3-5 hours a week beginning March 24, 2008
- Full-time May 12 - July 18, 2008 and August 11-22, 2008
