What is Welcome Week?

The purpose of Welcome Week events are to introduce new students to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. During the first few days before classes start, students have the opportunity to adjust to and connect with their new community. Events include, but are not limited to:

• Late Nighter at the Illini Union
• Campus Rec Block Party
• New Student Convocation
• Illinois Sights and Sounds
• College Meetings
• Quad Day
• I-Celebrate Taste of Nevada Street
