Testing Center

The Testing Center will be closed from December 22, 2014 – January 4, 2015 for the holiday break. No testing or appointments for Proctoring Services for individuals will be available during this period. If you have an emergency you may contact the Director, Dr. De La Rosa, at (217) 419-9554. General questions can be left on our answering machine at (217) 244-1342 or sent via email at testingcenter@illinois.edu and they will be answered on January 5, 2015. You can also contact the owner of your test for general questions on their websites (prometric.com or pearsonvue.com). The staff of the Testing Center wish you a warm and lovely holiday season. We look forward to meeting your testing needs and hope you will visit us soon in the new year.

Mission

While providing opportunities for students to display their mastery and synthesis of knowledge, the Testing Center shares and subscribes to the mission statement of the Office of the Dean of Students.

General Information

The Testing Center provides opportunities for students and the general public to display their mastery and synthesis of knowledge for both academic and professional purposes. Through our Prometric and PearsonVue labs we provide a wide range of high-stake licensing and college entrance exams such as: GMAT, GRE, MCAT, DAT, TOEFL, etc. Registrations for all exams are scheduled by the owner of the test and not the Testing Center. Visit www.ets.org , www.mba.com/the-gmat.aspx , or other test owner site to register. In addition, the Testing Center offers individual proctoring services for students in distant education courses – call (217) 333-3706 for pricing and appointments. The Center also trains and employs upper division and graduate students as proctors for UIUC faculty throughout the year.
