Emotional Support

Services are available for both female and male students including: crisis intervention, supportive counseling, advocacy, and
support groups for students victimized by sexual abuse and assault, dating abuse, harassment, and stalking and gender
discrimination.
- Rape Crisis Services, 355-5203
Provides 24-hour services to all Champaign County residents (including UIUC students) including crisis intervention, advocacy
with medical and criminal justice system, counseling, support groups and access to safe shelter.
- Counseling Center, 333-3704
Individual, couple and group therapy are available to students who have experienced a recent sexual assault or who were
sexually abused as a child.

Investigates sexual assault/abuse cases that occur within Urbana city limits.
- Office for Student Conflict Resolution and
Student Discipline (non-emergency), 333-3680
Provides assistance in filing a complaint against a UIUC student who has been physically or sexually abusive. Can issue a no
contact order to prevent harassing behaviors. Also sponsors an intervention/education group for students with abusive behaviors.
